In addition to producing locally, Madame Coquette is committed to promoting artisan-ship and skill development in the community. Each piece is hand cut and carefully put together with meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Bold colors and rich textures have become a signature aesthetic of the brand. MC embodies the essence of affordable luxury through the use of selected high grade leather and skins. The label has recorded sales in North America, Europe and West Africa.

Madame Coquette was launched in 2008 by Haowa Bello, a self-proclaimed bag enthusiast. Haowa has a background in economics, fashion and handbag construction.
